Issue with appointment

Me and my husband are in US from 2006 .He holds H1B & I holds H4. He changed his job once and got his extension of H1B from his employer (new I797) . I also got my extended H4.
Since my extended H4 petion number is different from his extended petiton number ,so can we appear together for our stamping interview in India or we have to do it separately?

H4 and H1 petition numbers are always different since they are two separate cases. You both can go at the same time. You don't have to go separately just because your petition numbers are different.
