New DS-157 form requiremennt for nonimmigrant visas

Effective immediately, all male nonimmigrant visa applicants between the ages of 16 and 45, regardless of nationality and regardless of where they apply, must fill out and submit a DS-157 in addition to the usual Nonimmigrant Visa Application (DS-156).

Does we need to fill DS-157 form for revalidation of H1B visa at St.Louis.
I sent my passport on 14th Jan 02 to St.Louis with DS-156 form only. before sending my documents,I verified with DOS official web site for required documents. It says about DS-156 only. It doesn't say anything about DS-157 form( in the revalidation requirements). As on today( Jan 21st) this site gives about DS-156 as required document. I also verified with immihelp Website.
If DS-157 is compulsory for revalidation of H1B Visa, Is there any way I can send DS-157 form as an additional document to St.Louis Office. Or I need to to wait (12-15 weeks) for rejection of application and resubmit with DS-157 form.
I appreciate your help in this regard . My thanks in advance.
