H1B transfer

Hi,

I have a question.I was working for an american company on H1B as a full time employee and one day I decided to resign as my work was not good and I have transferred my H1B to another company and have received the receipt notice for my application.But,my employer has not provided me any offer letter yet and it is been 2 months since iam looking for a project and he is not paying me any salary..As he is not paying me salary ,i cannot even transfer my H1B.When I asked him once,he spoke to me on phone that he will pay me only I get into the project on a 70-30 basis.And now he is not working on finding me a project and when I ask him,he says you are not doing interviews well which is not correct..He arranged only two interviews in two months..Also,on the other hand Iam losing lot of money and he has not even provided any accomodation or bench pay..What should I do in this situation..Please advise..Your help will be greatly appreciated..

In my company we have 2 openings for vb.net windows/web applications.

Its not a big company but atleast you will be in status.

Iam a java/j2ee person.But,as I have mentioned that I don't have my current paystubs as my employer is not paying me ,how can I transfer my H1B.

On H1, the employer must pay you all the time. project or not. You can complain to Department of Labor using WH4 form. H1 transfer may well be a problem if you are out of status.

Based on your initial description, it sounds like you are not fully qualified for the available positions and should consider other options.

Well qualified individuals do not abruptly leave full time positions for consultancy firms. They expect to be terminated for poor performance.

Not really. There are companies that have layoffs going on, mergers etc could also be reasons. The politics, favoritism, kissing someones behind are very much prevalent in a FT environment.
