Hi,
My fiancee, who stays in India, applied for H1B in April 2008. I am getting married in August 2008. Even if her H1-B gets approved, she cannot enter US before October 2008.
1) Can she come along with me in August 2008 on H4 and start working from October once she is here?
2) With a approved H1-B petition if she goes for H4 stamping, will her H1 gets cancelled?
3) If H1-B doesn't get cancelled, and she travels to USA on H4, can she work from October directly or does she has to travel outside US and get her H1B stamped for a change of status from H4-H1
