Delay in submitting documents after 221g.

We (me(H4) & my wife(H1-B)) have attended visa interview on 24th oct 2007. At that time VO issued 221g, asking for more documents from petitioner. We asked the same from the petitioner and by the time we received all the documents it was already April 2008.
On 21st of April we posted the documents along with Passport at local VFS office.
I would like to know from the members of the forum..
Will late posting of documents( 6 months delay) will have any baring on the visa issuence.

Dear Maddy,
There wont be any issues at all, go ahead and submit the document, only thing - after issuing the 221(g) form with in one year need to submit all the document,

I have already posted the documents (21st April). Hoping to get he passports back with positive reply.
Please someone address another query of mine.
When initial petition was received and the when attended the interview, the number of employees in the firm were 45. Now while posting the documents, the notarized list of the employees (as it was asked in 221g) came to 37.
I raised the issue with the petitioner, he said that wont be a problem, as some emplyees left the company and can always address it if any query raised by the consulate regarding that.

Will that be any problem?

Mail from Consulate

Yesterday I mailed Chennai consulate asking for the update on my case (221g, not a AAP, docs dropped along with ppt).
Infact I have written 2 mails within the gap of 10 minutes stating my case (in first mail i forgot to put the Receipt Number).
After 2mails i got the reply from consulate .
1) To first mail, i got a mail from consulate yesterday itself that the documents are under review and they can not mention the specific time period.
2) In response to my second mail, today morning i got mail that 'Your case is under administrative processing. We will contact you when the processing in your case is complete.'

Now i am confused as to what is the status of my case, is it under AAP or just the normal review.Other thing is that, it been a month and Consulate have our passports with them.

Please someone advise as whats going on.

Immi, Dont worry. My case was same as yours. Int on Oct 11th 2007 and dropped docs on Apr 18th 2008. I got visa on May 18th 2008. All the best.

Thanks adams for the reply. What was the questioner they sent you. I am not sure what to conclude from 2 mails. Is my case is now under AAP or just an admin (review) process.
