Has anyone come across such situation.
My friend had H-1 and worked for 2.5 yrs, then got laid off and since his H-1 was expiring he changed his status to H-4. Now in order to work again he needs H-1 so he has found a sponsorer. But can he start working even before his H-1 is approved?
