Weird H1b Questions

I am currently in OPT and have joined IT consultancy. They applied for my H1b,
My application was selected in lottery this year. What are the chances of getting and approval.

Am I allowed to quit or change job before Oct?

What will happen if I go back to college for FALL?

will either case cause me to go "out of status"?

1. Yes. You can change before Oct 1st if you have a copy of the H1 approval notice from the Consultancy.

When does your OPT end? Was your H1 applied with a Change of Status (COS)?

I have no idea about COS. The consultancy took care of all the process and just informed me that my application was selected.

If I change job ..Will my current H1B application still be valid?

I haven't received any project yet and kind of frustrated and thinking about going back to college for Masters in Fall.

What will happen if I do?
