Is it OK to show I-94 which came during H1 transfer 8)

Recently, while I was re-entering US, the immigration authorities didn't give new I-94(the usual white card what we get) instead, he told me that the I-94 what I have with my H1 B visa is enough.

Now, my question is, Is this going to pose any problem for me during Visa transfer/Visa Stamping or while traveling outside US ?
