H1B Extension-Please Help

My visa is expiring in October but I got my extension approval this month. I need to go to India in Dec. Will it be wise to get my visa stamped at a US Consulate in India or should I get it stamped here in Port Louis. I mean can I face any complications in US Consulate in India since my visa will show as expired in October and I still stayed in US till Dec.

That should not be a problem, you can stay in the US with the approval notice as long as you are not going out. I myself got the stamping done in India a year later (ie. after staying a year on the approval). There were no hitches.
