Hi Friends,

I have to revalidate my H1B visa. My employer has filed for a I40 petition for me. Now will writing a "yes" in answer to the question "Has anyone ever filed for an immigrant visa petition on your behalf" in the form OF 156 or DS 156 be detrimental and amount to a visa refusal? Has anyone written an "Yes" and got the visa?

I actually sent the papers yesterday to St. Louis and checked "Yes" after confirming with my lawyer who said it shouldn't be a problem. But you might wanna check again with your lawyer.
