Hi,
my friend applied for h1 in masters quota. he got a query that u did masters and bachelors in mechanical engineering then how can u prove ur self as a programmer analyst. What he has to show now?

Any computer trainings, courses undertaken etc. The company that hired him should have evaluated the skills before hiring him for the position.

If it is the pay for H1b type consulting company where every TDH is a Programmer Analyst, your friend should start preparing for a denial or more RFEs regarding client contracts etc.
