I would like to clarify this issue:
I came back to US in Apr 00 and got a new I-94 at immigration until July 00(my H1 expiration date). After couple of months I applied for my next three years of H1 (Same Employer). I got it approved until 2003.
The new H1 had a new I-94 in it. But the departure # on my I-94(in passport, expired) and the departure # in the new extension H1 are different. I am wondering if this is a problem. Could someone let me know if these two #'s should be same? Is this a problem??
