H1B Visa Stamping Requirement

Hi,

I have come to the US in Feb 06 on H1B from company X. I transferred my H1B to company Y in March 06 and have been working for that company since then. My visa is from company X. The visa and I94 validity is till Sep 30th 2008. When I filed change of employer in March 06, I got a new I94 which is valid till March 09.

I plan to visit India in August. Do I need to get a new visa stamping if to come back. Can I goto Canada/Mexico to get the visa stamping before travelling to India.

You need not get a visa stamp if your travel is before the current visa expires. You can get it stamped if you wish to elsewhere.
