In Mar 2000, my sister was working for company A. At that time she applied for company B and company C. She got approvals from both companies B and C in July 2000. However she joined company C. Today, however she got layed off from company C. Now company B still has her H1 valid till 2003 and did not cancel it and said they are interested to hire her.
But since company B's H1 is almost an year old, can she directly join company B on that H1 or does she need to apply again for a new H1? Any suggestions on this will be truly helpful.
