Different name in passport & other docs

Hi,

My name on passport is : PRADEEPKUMAR SATYEN CHAUHAN
and name on my educational documents is : PRADEEP SATYEN CHAUHAN

Note the suffix KUMAR ...

Will this create any problem during H1B stamping ?

On my school leaving certificate , the name is as in passport. I have no other document with name as in passport.

what should I do to avoid any problems during stamping.

No issues if your H1b approval docs are on your name. The common name of Kumar could cause some delays to people. I have heard of people with kumar as the first or last name getting into delays. But you have some suffix to kumar and should be fine.

I have KUMAR as a suffix to my name on passport.

so, my worry is about

1. delay due to the ***** word KUMAR
2. Delay due to my name not being consistent in all the document.

Should I do any affidavit in this regard ?

There may not be a delay as it is just a suffix or part of the name. No affidavit can help if the name check is triggered.

You will be fine as my friend with similar combo did not have any delay. As long as visa and company documents match that name, you will be fine. You are worrying too much about #2.
