Holding h4 - need to go for H1 stamping

Hi all,

I am holding H4 visa right now and leaving to US next month.My h1 got picked up in lottery selection for this year quota. I heard that there will be a problem, if i dont leave the country once i get the h1 status and immediately go for H1 stamping. Could anyone plz help me on this.

What you heard in wrong. Don't listen to such crap.
