H1b expiry date - POE

i got a new 797 while i was in india and now can i travel with old visa stamp and new petition.

Probem is what if I have only 7 days left on my expiry date. Any issues at POE

Yes, you have to show your new I797 at entry to get the I-94 date right. The visa should not have expired for you to be allowed in.
