going abroad while H1 transfer is pending

I'm currently working for Company A, and the H1 transfer filed by Company B is pending. I have three questions:

1. If I leave US now, and come back to still work for Company A. Will that affect the pending H1 transfer? I heard there could pose some problem because the A number on the I-94 will be different than the one on the approval notice.

2. If I quit Company A now and leave US, can I come back to work for Company B after the H1 transfer is approved?

3. If the answer to question 2 is yes, do I have to get a new visa stamp to come back, or I can just come in with the old visa stamp and the new approval?

3. If your visa stamp from company A has not expired, you can come back with stamp from A and visa from B.
