Me and my fiancee are getting married next month. We want to apply for her H4 VISA right after our marriage (I am on H1). But I want to book the VISA interview date now at Mumbai consulate. I have few questions about the DS156 form and would appreciate greatly if you could answer them.
1) Question 17: Marital stuatus.: What do we put in the marital stauts as we are currently not married and will not be married when we submit this form at one of the VFS centers (as a requirement to be interviewed at Mumbai consulate).
2) Question 32: Do you intent to work in the US: My finacee's H1B got selected in the lottery this year and is pending approval. She does intend to work in US but only after her H1B gets approved and COS. As far as H4 VISA is concerned she does not intend to work. What should we write?
