L1 to H1 COS---URGENT PLEASE HELP

I am In L1B, and my project is getting over by this June, and if my employer not able to find any project then I may go back to India.



1) If I visit India in July/Aug/Sep, will my H1b process disturbed?



2) I guess, If I leave USA before Oct 2008, I need to get stamped in India and I can enter usa using H1b. Please confirm.



3) If my COS is pending while I leave USA, will this cause any problem?



4) Alteast my H1b need to get approved before I leave USA, is that correct?

3. COS will be abandoned but not the H1b processing.
4. Not necessarily. H1b can get approved even after you leave US. It will have no impact.
