Can u have two jobs with two H1s...

Currently I am on H1 with company X. And i got my H1 transfered to company Y and decided to leave company X. But company X wants me to work parttime for a while if it's possible for me. They said they can do so by amending my H1!! I was wondering if it's legal to work on two different jobs..one fulltime and parttime with two H1s.
