Travel outside on H1 pending

Hi ,
Can a person travel outside the country when his H1 (transfer)status is pending?
Note : The earlier H1 was cancelled after the H1 transfer was filed.The stamp on the passport and the
I-94 is valid till the end of next year.

Please reply urgently.

If you have joined new company, you don't have any valid H1 status to enter with.
