A person ABC has a H1 Visa from companyA and the company fires/lays off the person giving him a notice of 15days to find another employment.

For how long is his present H1 valid?

If within the notice period companyB files for his H1 , under the new law can the person work for the company?

Also when his new H1 is filed, can the person travel outside the country and come back as the H1stamp on his passport is still valid?
