Original Exp. letter needed during H-1B stamping ?

Do we need to take in the original experience letter
for H-1B stamping at US Consulate Chennai?

My friend as already given the original letter to the
lawyer, at the time of H-1B petitioning.

My question, does he need to get another letter
from the employer, stating his experience or can
he just use the photocopy of the experience letter
he filed for petitioning.

They usually don't ask for it, but if they do, you have to show them the original letter.

You should not give any original document to any one for any purpose.
