H1-Validation for First Time, Help needed

Hi All,

My wife entered the country on F2 that has expired
long ago. She changed her status, to H4 and then to H1B
which has never been validated on her passport. Now,
we have applied for our I-485. She has never been out
of status. She has maintained her legal status all along.

We are planning to go to India in November. Before we
go it is best for us if we could re-validate her visa
on her passport. My question: Is there a problem to
have her visa re-validated at Mexico? Will Tijuana, Mexico
re-validate the visa on her passport? Must she have
her Advance Parole before going to Mexico for re-validation?

Please help...

Yes, she can do it at Tijuana, Mexico.

Yes, she should carry Advanced Parole before going there so that she can enter US if there is some problem there.

Thanks Immihelp.. However, I was told that she can
enter back into US within 30 days using her I-94
on her H1B approval notice (I-797) is that true?
Also, it is 30 days since we applied for Advance
Parole, we have not got it yet. Also, if I apply
now for I-824 requesting consular processing
will my application for AP be processed?

What you have heard is true. I am telling to carry AP for double safety.

You can AP even if you apply I-824.
