H1-B not randomly selected.... E2 instead?

Hi! I am an allied medical professional who didn't get picked on this year's H1-B random selection. So, I went looking for a non-cap company. On the forums, there's this company that says they can sponsor on a non-cap visa.

During the interview, I was told that I have an option to join them and they will sponsor for an E2 visa. Is this type of visa also applicable for PTs? I want to make sure I get the right kind of visa because moving to a different country, especially the US is no joke.

I don't think I would trust an employer who is finding employees on an online forum. Check with your profession's US professional organization's employment referral ads or service.

I was in a same situation.
I applies for h1b and didnt get thru. Why soes it happen always with good ppl.

Even i am looking for non -cap companies and search is still going.
please if you could let me know any non -cap comanies you come across, that would be great help.
