H4 Revalidation

Hi

I am working on H1B and need to re-validate my and my wife's visa as it is expiring on 15 oct 2000. Recently i changed my company and now i have new visa till 2003.
So my question is i already have (I797) VISA extension for me. Do i need get it (I797)for my wife also or i just need my I797 and her original passport to get revalidation done from St. Louis.
What all documents i require for my wife's VISA (H4) revalidation.

Please guide.

You should file for I-539, extension of non-immigrant status, for your wife, if you want to revalidate it at St. Louis.

Alternatively, she can go to her home country and get new visa stamp at the consulate, along with your new H1 approval. In that case, she does not need to file I-539.
