Passport Expiration and H1B Transfer Validation:

Hi All,

My passport is going to expire on the month of Oct. 30th 2000 and it has VISA stamped till May. 15th 2000. However, I transferred my VISA in the month of Feb. and I got VISA from April. 26th 2000 to April.25th 2003. Can anyone tell me what should I do in order to get my VISA stamped in Passport ie whether I need to apply a new Passport and then get VISA stamped in new Passport or should I stamp in my present Passport and get a new Passport and staple the old Passport which should have VISA validated till April. 25th 2003? If Possible, Please suggest where should I get a new Passport and what documents should I send as I am an Indian Citizen based in washington DC?
