Green Card --- L1 or H1 *** PLEASE HELP ***

Hi
I had a H1-B for Six year, had to leave the country after it expired. Moved to Canada working
with the same company in Canada.

While in Canada filed my LC RIR and I-140 under EB3, both were done. My priority date is Dec-1999.
I can't file for I-485 for a long time now ( possibly Sep 2003 or don't even know when because they are processing Feb-97 now for India Employment based Immigration for EB3).

Can I come to US on L1-A visa as I had a manager title both in Canada and US. After coming on L1-A
can I re-apply for I-140 under EB1 directly without LC and apply for I-485 under CP in Bombay.

What document would the Company in US need to file a L1-A. How much time does it take.

You can come here on L1. You can file I-140 in EB1 if you qualify and apply for CP in Mumbai.

There is no such thing as I-485 under CP. Either you do I-485 or do CP.
