My visa in passport expired Feb 2008, but I have new I-797 expiring in 2010. Can I go to Mexico to get the visa stamped? My home country is India. Please help!

---- You can certainly try going to Mexico for a Visa. At the same time be prepared to proceed to India from Mexico if your Visa is not granted. You may not be permitted to come back to US (although you can tryat the border) if your Visa is not granted
