Urgent - Leap Frog and new H1B visa

Hello,

If I go out of the country with my current L1B status and also my new H1B approved COS before Oct 01, what are the documents that I need to carry with me ?
When I come back to USA on Oct 15, what are the document that POE officer would ask me for ? Should I show them my L1B Visa I-94 and also approved H1B I-94 ? Will they question me and create problems ?
Will they cancel my L1B visa at POE and put be directly on new H1B visa ?
If they cancel my L1B, then I'll remain unemployed. I'm worried.

I think your questions/concerns don't make sense.

You decide what visa status you want enter the U.S. L1 or H1.
You show the visa and I-797 for that visa status. Show L1 visa and I797 if you want to enter on L1 status and so on.

You don't need to open everything up at the PEO. Be smart and think. Present only the relevant things.

If someone asked you: How are you doing today?

No need to talk about yesterday and tomorrow all right?
