Prepone interview date

i had booked for my H4 visa interview on 28th of July. Can i reschedule it on 23rd?availability is there for 23rd.. should i cancel that and book again or is there any option for preponing it?? pls its very urgent. and my husband is unwell in US. Can i use that emergency appointment to book a date?? pls let me know.

You'll have to cancel and rebook. You cannot prepone.
But you run the risk of that date getting booked and becoming unavailable by the time you book it.
