Role change and H1B

Hi,

I am on an H1B and work as a Senior in my area of InfoSec. I may be in the process of being promoted to manager in the same area. Does this role change require a change in my H1B papers? Also, should I wait for this role change to apply for a GC?

Yes, Labor of H1b has to be amended and GC can be applied for the future role now.
