H4 to H1 stamping in Bahamas

Thanks for the Posts and the Prompt replies. This website is really helpful.

I have a question about my H1B stamping. I transferred from F1 to H4 to H1B. The stamping that I have on my passport is the F1 visa stamping as I did not leave the Country after my Transfer.
I am planning to get my H1B stamping in Nassau Bahamas during the last week of september. My questions:

1. Is it ok to go to other Countries other than my Home country to get my Stamping (from F1 to H4 to H1B)?

2. I will not have any Pay stubs during the last week of september because my H1B starts only from OCT 1. Is this a reason for concern?

3. Is there any body else going to the Bahamas during Sep. last week. If yes please let me know.

4. If any body has got their Visa stamping from Bahamas, please let me know how was the experience and also details about Travel and Accomodation.
