At the outset let me thank you for the services you are rendering to the society.
I am a citizen of Troy, MI. My son in law Shripad is holding H1b visa since September 2007 stamped at Mumbai, India.His employer who is in NJ has not called him as yet. As my son in law started following him , he threaten him of cancelling the visa. Can he get his visa transferred from India itself . What are the basic documentation requirements for visa transfer/ premier processing . Is there any specific time fixed during the calendar year.
How can he stop the unjust cancellation of H1b visa i.e. what authorities he will have to approach in USA. To avoid illegal stay in USA( if the visa is cancelled)will he get advance notification that his visa is being cancelled, and form whom.
I shall appreciate , if you kindly guide me in the matter. Where can I get the details of the transferee.
