H1B Extension Criteria

Hi All,

My H1b is expiring in Sep 2008 and I have filed for its extension on around 25th july along with my family's H4 extension.
I wanted to know the criteria for granting or rejecting H1/H4.

I am sorry if this has been asked in any other thread in this forum.

Seniors please respond.

Granted if you meet the specifics of the job, valid status and the job exists. Rejected otherwise.
