My employer sent me to USA on 2nd May 2007 on H1B VISA and now he is asking me to go back to india to work there for 1.5 years, then come back.
H1B Issue Date: APRIL 2007
H1B Expiry Date - May2009
My question is, my employer as he said, will send me again on Dec, 2009 but thru L1B VISA. So if i come on Dec, 2009 using my new L1B, will i be able to use my old expired H1B and switch to new employer in USA. So far i am in USA for 15 months on this H1B VISA.
If yes, please tell me how many years maximum i can work here when i come on next time.
