H4 to H1 Change of Status - Help

H4 to H1 change of status under query for more than 4 moths

Hi Guys,

Please help me out on this.
I have H1b approved for 2007 oct, i came to US on H4 in 2008 april.My emploer applied for change of status 4 months back. Unfortunately they put a query for the company. employer submitted all the documents needed for them. But there is no progress yet.
What can i do to speed up the process from my side.
or can i apply for fresh H1 instead of waiting on this.

Please advise.

After RFE USCIS processing clock resets back.
Even if you apply new one, you will have to wait until Oct 2009 to start work.
So its your choice.
