Stamping question

Hello,

I have a question which is bothering me from long time...

I have done my masters here...I came here on Jan 06 on my student Visa and I have completed my masters on May 07....After that I was on OPT but I didnt work on OPT....From Oct 07 my H1 was activated....and I am working since then....my question is...Do I need to do stamping if I dont want to go outside USA...Is it ok if I dont do stamping for my entire H1 period..meanwhile I am also planning to apply for my green card next month...Please Guide me..

You need a visa only if you want to travel.
