Will H1B get cancelled if we shift to canada?

Hi There,

My friend did his masters in U.S , worked in U.S on H1B visa for the past 7 years. Now that, he has got his Canadian PR and he is moving to canada after taking up a job there. Please let me know if his visa would still be valid or will this get cancelled once he moves out of USA.

H1b period is max of 6 years unless he has a GC pending. H1b revoke depends on his employer and if he leaves US, they will most likely cancel it and he has to come with a new cap number after 1 year.
