Sir,

I have read many articles on various types of US visas but could not find the solution to my problem. which is, that i want to set up a business in the US, that i am uncertain about at this moment. but one thing is for sure, it will be self-owned. so, will an application for an H1 be accepted in this case?

You can open business while on H1 but you can't work for that business.
