  • What would one do in such a situation......

The employer is not giving certain set of docs which has to be given by the petitioner (btw the company is big and top notch in its field/industry), even after mentioning that it should be given in a sealed envelope which will only be opened by the VO, if asked by the VO, like for eg:

    a) State employment wage report.

    b) Notarized list of all it's employees.

    c) Petitioners Income tax returns for the last 2-3 years.

Have read posts here and other forums where folks have been given 221(g) due to such docs not being available with them and stuck for months.

Any suggestions/thoughts from folks would be highly appreciated.....

    The documents you're

... asking are company's confidential documents. There is no way for the company to prevent you from opening the sealed envelope to access these documents.

If the VO requires the documents you can ask the company to send the same directly to AMCON, which they will surely do.

Also, if your company is listed then the documents are not required.

    Good luck.

Again, no sealed envelopes allowed inside consulates. You will be suspected of bringing terror with anthrax
