Hello,

Im on an H1B visa. Im planning to start an online business selling software. Customers can buy from anywhere in the world. Do i need to have a business registered in the USA for this. Can i register a business in the US on H1B?

You may not continue legally with this plan while you are in the US on H1B visa. It will be viewed as illegal work. You may only work for your H1B employer; you may not even work for yourself just a few hours a week. If you wish to continue with the on-line business, you must leave the US.
