Apply for B2 when 221g is pending

Hi,

I came to India for vacation and went for stamping and received pink form (Bio field) 221g. I replied and am waiting for them to get back.

I was also planning to apply for visitor visa for parents during this time. Can I do it now itself or should I wait for approval and stamping before that?
Please advise.

You can do it either way. Valid approved petition is needed.
