How long can the H1B stamping be delayed?

Hi,

I am working on L1 and my H1 has been selected in the lottery in the meantime. Now I wish to work with L1 company for 1 more year as the project is good.

So, can I go for H1 stamping next year for this year's approved H1B ?

Or can I continue to work with L1 employer on valid L1 even after H1 stamping is done?

Was your H1b a COS from L1? That is the key to answer your question.

No COS. Both H1 and L1 are from different employers. I am continuing on L1 but have not applied for COS yet. Would there be any problem, when I do that?
