Convert from h1b to f1

Hi,
I was a master's student completed masters and filed my h1b and got approved. but now i want to do MBA and go on my f1 status and what happens to my h1 then?
Is it possible and if it is then how should i proceed.

Was the H1b a COS? If so, talk to the ISO about it as you would either need to go for stamping or have another COS to be filed for F1. The H1b as such could be used later on but you need to keep your status in mind as after Oct 1st you will be on H1 and not F1 if it was a COS.
