H1B Visa stamping

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a regular visitor to your web site and it is very helpful. I have one situation if you can suggest:

I am working in US on H1B visa which is expiring on 30th sept 08. I already have an extention of HIB until 2011 . I will be travelling to Hong Kong for some work from 14-23rd sept 08. Can i get my approved H1 stamped in Hong Kong or can I come back in US on 23rd september with same old H1 which is valid until 30th sept 2008. Will there be any problem at the port of entry?

Please advise.

If you are temporarily visiting Hong Kong, you can't get it stamped there.

You can use the valid visa to enter along with your extended/new I797 and the olde I797 together to get the I-94 issued until 2011.
