How is the market for H1b jobs

After the wall street disaster

How is the US market? Since couple of my friend's employers have asked them to fly before Oct End and saying market is very good!!!

And couple of others friends including me, were told that, we will not take you untill May if the market is like this or else we'll get you here by Jan.

I know it depends on various factors like if the employers clients are only financial institutions, then may be slow and not otherwise,

But just want to know how the condition there for H1b jobs like whether the demand has decreased or its the same...

Liars!!!Financial sector being down ripples down to many other sectors. Insurance sector is heading south as well. Telecom sector never recovered from the previous downturn. What is left???

Whatever the market scenario is, the employer apparently promised DOL and USCIS that they have a job for you. Once you enter on H1b, ensure you have documented evidence that you made yourself available to work and the employer MUST, I REPEAT MUST pay you the salary as per the LCA. If not, it will put you out of status.

Project or not, you have a job with your employer!!!!
