Can I get an H1B again

I lived in the US for about 6 years on an H1B status.

After that I came back to India and since lived here for 3 years.

I now plan to go there again for a job.

Is is possible for me to get an H1B again?

Any other alternatives. Kindly help.

---- Yes, it is possible to apply for a H1 during April 2009. You have to go through the lottery system which was not there during your earlier tenure. Find an employer to sposnor you for the H1.

---- Alternately you may also apply for L1 if you have been working in India for a company that has offices in India and US

---- Having worked for 6 years in the US you would have known all the ins and outs of the Hi vissa system. It is rather surprising that you are posting for a response
