H1B Lottery Validity

Hi my H1B Lottery got approved on Septemeber 1 , How long is this lottery valid means till which day will i be able to attend the Visa interview. Do we hav anything lik expiry date of the lottery . Due to some serious problems i wont be able to attend the Visa interview till next Oct will that mean that my lottery will expire .
Please let me know very urgent.

There is nothing like an expiration date. You can attend as long as the petition is valid and your employment holds good with your employer.
